University of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Pure Portal
Sponsored by the People's Government of Shandong Province and jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the National Health Commission and other national ministries and commissions, as well as the city of Qingdao, University of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is positioned as a new type of research-oriented university, focusing on basic and cutting-edge scientific and technological research and training top-notch innovative talents. It is based in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
University of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences adheres to a demand-oriented approach, focuses on cutting-edge interdisciplinary studies, practices new medicine, new engineering, and new liberal arts, and actively builds a comprehensive rehabilitation discipline professional system led by "Rehabilitation+", with medicine, science, and engineering as the main body, and supported by interdisciplinary development in management, education, sociology, and other fields.
The university has established two major shared scientific research and experimental platforms: the Innovation-Driven Center and the Translational Medicine Research Center. It has planned and constructed five major scientific innovation centers and has been approved for twelve provincial and municipal platforms, including the Shandong Provincial Population Health Public Policy Soft Science Research Base and the Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center for Motor Function Rehabilitation. Since 2020, it has successively carried out strategic cooperation with Peking University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China Rehabilitation Research Center and other institutions to jointly train doctoral students.
University of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences will focus on serving the high-quality development of the rehabilitation industry, aiming to cultivate new productive forces in the field of rehabilitation. It vigorously promotes the integration of industry and education as well as the fusion of science and education, striving to gather top-notch faculty, build first-class disciplines, cultivate top talents, and generate leading achievements.
