Abstract
FLUENT was used to simulate the ax-symmetric submerged turbulent gas-jet in infinite space with three turbulent model-Spalart-Allmaras model, standard k-ε and RNG k-ε model, the results were compared with the theoretical analysis and experimental measure method. The result indicates that all the models can reflect the rule of jet, but the computed result has a little difference with theoretical and experimental value. The standard k-ε model has the best result.
