N2 - The cavitation nozzle is the key to generate cavitation. In addition, the choice of nozzle injection pressure has a significant effect on the cleaning effect. In order to obtain the best injection pressure, we simulated the typical high-efficiency angle nozzle by using FLUENT software and analysed the influence of nozzle injection pressure on the intensity of cavitation jet. With the increase of injection pressure, the velocity and the dynamic pressure value increase accordingly, but the slope of the velocity increase becomes slower; the vapor phase volume also increases, but the growth rate is not obvious in the interval between 5-20 MPa, and then grows slowly. This shows that in this case, the effect of cavitation is limited by increasing the injection pressure. After a comprehensive consideration of velocity, dynamic pressure and vapor phase volume, it can be concluded that the nozzle injection pressure is the best around 20 MPa when cleaning the immersed objects.
